The goal is to empower the next generation to be entrepreneurs, savers and investors in a practical way yet fun way.
Kids will be able to rent booths for as little as $50 and walk away with as much as $300 to $400 based on the items they sell. Items sold will include treats children made themselves, others will sell toys, games and books they no longer wanted as well as clothes.
Trade Show will empower children with the ability to make their own money from the stuff that they own at home. Parents will have an ability to be impressed and to take part in the financial literacy activities, thus help teach children the basics of balancing budgets and wealth management.
Students will be able to run their businesses for the day and that a seed was planted in the life of a future CEO.
At Boffo Biz, we often tell kids that they are the CEO’s of their own lives and this gives them an opportunity to get their feet wet.
The Trade Show will take show around December time, perfect timing for this event as many of the kids are eager to earn their own funds for Holidays to buy presents or save for something they want.
Students must attend Boffo Biz for three consecutive months to participate in this event.
"The whole thing is designed to develop the entrepreneurial spirit in children in a practical way,” noted Tatyana. “It will not only teach them unique ways to earn money but also inspire them to save and manage their money wisely."
